EVANSTON, Il. — With a trip to the final four on the line, Syracuse (16-5, 5-2 Atlantic Coast) struggled to score after the first 10 minutes against Northwestern (16-4, 5-1 Big Ten) at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium. At one point during the first half, the Orange were down 10-3. A two-hour lightning delay ensued three minutes into the second half, and the SU offense came alive — scoring 10 goals in the final frame.
