Against its former Big East rival, Syracuse (7-2) found itself down 13 after the first half to Georgetown (7-2). The Orange had only scored 22 points in their first 20 minutes of play. But a 50-point second half eruption from the Orange kept them in the game. Down one-point, Tyus Battle pulled up from inside the 3-point line to give SU the lead with 2.5 seconds left.
