No. 2 Syracuse (13-2, 4-0 Atlantic Coast) defeated No. 15 Yale (10-6, 5-1 Ivy), by a score of 11-10 on Sunday night inside the Carrier Dome. SU advances to the NCAA quarterfinals next Sunday against Towson. Redshirt freshman Stephen Rehfuss scored the game-winning goal. Nick Mariano and Jamie Trimboli each scored two goals and nine different SU players had a goal.
