Four nights after upsetting then-No. 18 Virginia in Charlottesville, Syracuse returned to the Carrier Dome on Wednesday night and blew out Boston College 76-50. By halftime, the Orange had built a 25-point lead and cruised from there.
Their backups played 54 combined minutes against the Eagles but to mixed results. Buddy Boeheim led SU with 22 points, while Elijah Hughes chipped in 19.
