Less than 24 hours after losing 4-2 to the Lakers, Syracuse (0-3, 0-2 College Hockey America) lost 1-0 on Saturday afternoon against the defending CHA champions Mercyhurst (2-4, 2-0). The Orange killed off 10 power plays but couldn’t find the back of the net in the loss.
