Nottingham opened its season with a road win at Rome Free Academy. That led into a home opener against last year’s sectional runner ups, Baldwinsville. But the Bulldogs (2-0) defended home turf with a 20-0 win over the Bees (0-2). Playing with its backup quarterback at the helm didn’t slow Nottingham, which led from start to finish in a statement performance.
