Syracuse jumped out to its fastest start of the year and held onto a lead it would never lose in the Orange’s (7-1) 72-63 win over Connecticut (6-3) on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. Matthew Moyer posted a career-high 18 points while Oshae Brissett kicked in his fourth double-double and Tyus Battle a team-best 22 points in the win.
