Man robs bank near SU; no arrests yet

No arrests have been made yet in a bank robbery that took place a minute away from the Syracuse University campus on Friday, said Sgt. Gary Bulinski of the Syracuse Police Department.
The robbery happened at about 12:20 p.m. at the First Niagara Bank across from Marshall Square Mall, police said, after a man slipped a teller a note demanding money.
Police describes the robber as a black male in his 20s, who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and has dreadlocks and a thin build. During the robbery, the man was wearing glasses, white sneakers and a striped shirt, police said.
