SU to require all students to have health insurance beginning in fall of 2016
Starting next academic year, all incoming, newly enrolled full-time students, as well as current and incoming full-time international students, will be required to have health insurance, according to a student health insurance fact sheet distributed during Monday’s meeting. Kramer seeks comptroller position, focuses on finance board communication, increasing funds
Phil Kramer, a sophomore economics and finance major, is running uncontested for comptroller in April’s school-wide presidential elections. Kramer currently serves as assistant comptroller in SA and has been on the finance board since October of his freshman year. Read More »

Organization votes to change organization name, establishes new committee
The Syracuse University Student Association voted during Monday night’s meeting in Maxwell Auditorium to change the name of its organization back to SGA, a provision included in the first phase of the Federalization Act, which was passed after lengthy deliberation during the meeting. Read More »
Assembly passes 2 bills, elects committee members
SA passed a pair of bills with different purposes on Monday. A medical amnesty bill and transfer student integration bill both passed through assembly voting and 12 students were elected as board members and representatives during the meeting. Read More »
Assembly elects representatives, addresses annual report
Current SA members elected ten representatives to fill open positions in the assembly at its meeting in Maxwell Auditorium. The candidates represented various home colleges and went through a series of questions and voting to determine who would fill the seats. Read More »
