Syracuse (2-1) rose four spots in the Inside Lacrosse rankings to No. 12 on Monday morning. The boost up the rankings comes after SU’s 11-10 triple-overtime victory over then-No. 9 Army on Saturday.

Albany, which spanked SU on Feb. 17, is now the No. 1 ranked team following its win and a Duke loss over the weekend. Army fell four spots to No. 13 in the most recent poll.

The other four Atlantic Coast Conference teams remain in the Top 25 with No. 3 Duke (4-1) leading the charge followed by No. 4 Virginia (4-0), No. 8 Notre Dame (2-0), No. 10 North Carolina (4-0).

SU will play next at Virginia on Sunday at 3 p.m. The game will mark the third straight week Syracuse has played a team ranked in the Top 10 at the time of faceoff.
