Sergio Salcido carried the Orange and his five-point performance proved vital in No. 10 Syracuse’s (3-1, 1-0 Atlantic Coast) 14-13 win over No. 9 Virginia (4-2, 0-1). The Orange fell into another deep first-half hole on Sunday but managed to claw out of it (again) to avoid a crushing home loss in one of its four conference games.
