Reader reprimands professor for rescinding offer to filmmaker

Dear Professor Hamner,

In my humble opinion, I consider you another gutless educator who has caved to the anti-Israel movement. Your action to uninvite filmmaker Shimon Dotan demonstrates either a lack of courage or a demonstration of anti-Semitism. I will do everything I can to make Jewish alumni of Syracuse University aware of what you have done and encourage them to withhold future donations to your institution.

Only days into the new school year and already anti-Israel activists are making a splash on college campuses from one corner of the country to the other.
