4 Syracuse University students arrested on drug possession charges

Four Syracuse University students were arrested Wednesday at their Castle Court apartment on drug possession charges.
Christopher Mancino, 22, Denzel Deranamie, 20 and two other students were arrested at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday at 1017 Harrison St., according to a police bulletin.
One student was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third, fifth and seventh degrees. Deranamie was arrested on the same charges in addition to receiving charges of criminal possession of marijuana (CPM) in the second degree and unlawful possession of marijuana (UPM). Mancino was charged with CPM in the second degree and UPM.
Court documents for the case were not immediately available Thursday morning.
Mancino and another student are seniors in the Whitman School of Management and the College of Engineering and Computer Science, respectively, according to the SU directory. Deranamie is a junior in the College of Visual and Performing Arts’ Department of Transmedia, according to the directory.
