Syracuse had its lowest offensive output since 1945 in its season-opening loss to No. 11 Virginia on Wednesday night. In front of more than 20,000 fans, Syracuse (0-1, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) was held to just 34 points in a 48-34 to the defending national champion Cavaliers (1-0, 1-0).
