Syracuse community members, Onondaga Nation celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Indigenous Peoples' Day took place Oct. 14.

Yesterday, Onondaga Nation citizens and other community members gathered at the Syracuse Inner Harbor to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day, representing a movement to shift attention away from Christopher Columbus and toward indigenous communities.
