The last time Syracuse lost to a current FCS school was in 1958, when Holy Cross defeated the Orange 14-13.
On Saturday afternoon, Syracuse (3-2, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) defeated Holy Cross (1-3), 41-3. The game was never in doubt, and quarterback Tommy DeVito threw four touchdowns to four different receivers. SU’s offense started out strong, and its defense remained stout against the outmatched Crusaders. Additionally, fullback Chris Elmore supplied depth on the defensive end as a defensive tackle.
