D.O. Sportscast: softball beat writers review the first half of the season

The softball team (14-19, 4-5 Atlantic Coast) played its first home game last Wednesday in a doubleheader against Niagara, winning both. Then, last weekend the Orange faced Notre Dame and ended the series 2-1 against the Fighting Irish.
