Syracuse (3-2, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) jumped one spot to No. 13 in Inside Lacrosse’s Division I Media Poll.

The Orange are coming off a 14-10 win over historic rival Johns Hopkins — a bounce-back week after SU fell 15-14 in overtime to then-No. 13 Virginia. Through five weeks, Syracuse is three spots below its preseason No. 10 ranking, but has climbed seven spots since it fell to No. 20 in the rankings after a 12-9 season-opening loss to unranked Colgate.

The Orange return to action Saturday against No. 15 Rutgers in the Carrier Dome.
