Tyus Battle and Elijah Hughes, the Orange’s two best scorers, combined for only 11 points against Pittsburgh (12-10, 2-7). The Panthers hung around, but behind 18 points and 12 rebounds from Oshae Brissett, a bounce-back performance from Paschal Chukwu and success in the 2-3 zone, SU pushed its conference record to 7-2.
