No. 3 North Carolina (10-2-1, 6-0-0 Atlantic Coast) was superior for the majority of its 7-1 win over Syracuse (3-11, 0-6). In the last 25 minutes, it stood out even more, as the Tar Heels scored four goals in the last 25 minutes, including three in a span of less than six minutes. It extended Syracuse’s losing streak to nine-straight games.
