CICERO — Coming off a 2017 sectional title, Cicero-North Syracuse lost 33 seniors. But it was the new seniors who stepped up on Friday night in C-NS’ season opener to beat Christian Brothers Academy, 47-6. Conner Hayes threw four touchdowns, Shy’rel Broadwater caught three, and Jaiquawn Mcgriff ran for two and scored one after an interception. It got the Northstars off to a 1-0 start, a record Hayes said C-NS should aim for every week.
