2019 3-star defensive back Garrett Williams commits to Syracuse

Syracuse added its tenth commit to its 2019 class as 3-star defensive back Garrett Williams committed to SU, Williams announced on Twitter Wednesday morning.

Williams — listed at 5-11, 170 pounds per 247 Sports —is the fourth defensive back commit in the class. He joins safety Dorian Hewett, who announced his commitment Saturday along with 3-star safety Cornelius Nunn and 3-star cornerback Adrian Cole.
At Hickory Ridge (N.C.) High School, Williams recorded 68 total tackles and caused four turnovers — forcing a fumble and intercepting three passes.
