Here’s who will run in the Outdoor National Championship

Seven Syracuse runners will compete at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, starting on June 6.

Aidan Tooker, Noah Affolder, Matt Moore, Colin Bennie, Justyn Knight, Philo Germano and Paige Stoner will try to bring home Syracuse’s first ever NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Every race can be live streamed on ESPN3.

The following start times for the races are in Pacific Time Zone (PT).

Men’s 3000m Steeplechase Semifinal – Aidan Tooker, Noah Affolder
Wednesday, June 6, 5:02 p.m.

Sophomore Aidan Tooker and freshman Noah Affolder are set to compete in the 3000m steeplechase on Wednesday evening. Affolder and Tooker punched their tickets to Nationals by placing first and second, respectively, in the NCAA East Preliminaries. They are also the two fastest steeples in the ACC. Affolder and Tooker, along with Paige Stoner, have excelled at the steeplechase, a bohemian distance event involving water traps and barriers.

If the athletes advance advance, the event’s final will be held on Friday at 5:54 p.m.

Men’s 110m Hurdles Semifinal – Matt Moore
Wednesday, June 6, 5:32 p.m.

Matt Moore, a sophomore, will run in the third heat. He qualified with a 13.97 time at the NCAA East Preliminaries. To advance to the final, which will be held on Friday at 6:12 p.m., he needs to finish first or second in his heat.

Men’s 10000m Final – Colin Bennie
Wednesday, June 6, 7:08 p.m.

In the first final event, senior Colin Bennie will look to finish his career at SU strong. Bennie’s personal best in the 10K is 28:37.04, which he achieved at the Stanford Invitational in March.

Women’s 3000m Steeplechase Semifinal – Paige Stoner
Thursday, June 7, 4:32 p.m.

Last week, Stoner broke the school record by running the event in 9:48.73. Just two other runners in the event have faster personal bests. If she places in the top five of her heat, she will advance to the final on Saturday at 3:54 p.m.

Men’s 5000m Final – Justyn Knight, Philo Germano
Friday, June 8, 7:25 p.m.

Knight is the favorite in the 5000m. In March, he won the Indoor NCAA 5000m race and finished third in last year’s NCAA Outdoor 5K. He holds the fastest time entering Friday’s race, which is the only event he’s competing in. The 5K will be both his and teammate Philo Germano’s last race for the Orange. Germano and Knight, with Colin Bennie, helped change the culture of SU track and field and were paramount in SU’s 2015 Cross Country National Championship victory.
