Gallery: SU officials, students gather at Hendricks Chapel for forum following Theta Tau expulsion
Hundreds of Syracuse University faculty, staff and students attended a forum on Wednesday night in Hendricks Chapel, organized in response to the expulsion of the Theta Tau fraternity.
Theta Tau was initially suspended by SU after the university confirmed it was involved in the circulation of videos showing fraternity members engaging in behaviors that were “extremely racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, sexist, and hostile to people with disabilities,” Chancellor Kent Syverud said in a campus-wide email sent last Wednesday.
