No. 34 Syracuse (14-3, 6-3 Atlantic Coast) had never beaten a team ranked as high as No. 3 in the country. On Sunday at Drumlins Country Club, the Orange beat No. 3 Georgia Tech (14-4, 6-2), 4-3. Gabriela Knutson clinched the match with a three-set win at first singles to give the Orange its biggest win, by ranking, in program history.
