Syracuse entered the game with Wake Forest off a win at Louisville, its biggest of the season to date.
Syracuse (17-8, 6-6 Atlantic Coast) defeated Wake Forest (9-16, 2-11) 78-70 on Sunday afternoon in the Carrier Dome. Tyus Battle led all scorers with 34 points and snagged four boards. After dropping the first 2018 meeting of the two teams at Wake Forest, Syracuse pushed its conference record to .500 on the year.
