No arrests, criminal activities took place at Juice Jam

No arrests were made and there was no criminal activity on Sunday at Juice Jam, Syracuse police said.

The music festival was held Sunday at Skytop Field on South Campus, and 9,500 tickets were sold. Rapper Fetty Wap, the concert’s headlining artist, did not show up to the festival because of travel complications.

And though Syracuse University students reacted angrily to the canceling of Fetty Wap’s performance, no arrests were made, according to the Syracuse Police Department.

Officials from SU’s Department of Public Safety did not return phone calls or emails Sunday evening requesting comment.

This was at least the fourth consecutive year that no arrests were made at the festival, which is held annually in September.

Pop artist Tove Lo, DJ and producer Marshmello, rapper D.R.A.M., indie electronic artist Stephen and rock artist LOLO all performed at the concert before Fetty Wap was due to take the stage.
