Hannibal Buress to perform standup at Syracuse University
Hannibal Buress will perform in Goldstein Auditorium at 8 p.m. on March 31 according to an announcement made by University Union on March 20. Tickets cost $5 and will be available at the Schine Box Office March 21 from 11 a.m.
Buress is an Emmy and WGA Award nominated actor, screenwriter and comedian. He is most famous for his character Lincoln on Comedy Central’s show “Broad City” and his role as a co-host on “Eric Andre Show.”
Buress also has his own standup special, “Comedy Camisado,” which is available to stream on Netflix and wrote his own weekly comedy series in 2015 entitled “Why? With Hannibal Buress,” which aired on Comedy Central.
In addition to the work that he has done in standup and on TV, Buress has also featured in many popular films such as “Daddy’s Home,” “Band of Robbers” and “Neighbors.” He is currently working as one of the leading voices in the upcoming animated films “Angry Birds” and “The Secret Life of Pets.”
