Chris Clark: ‘Syracuse pulled my scholarship and I wanted to go there’
Former five-star tight end Chris Clark is no longer transferring to Syracuse, he told The Daily Orange earlier this week after SU pulled his offer. He also said wanted to join the team.

Basketball is back
With Atlantic Coast Conference media day came some thoughts from SU head coach Jim Boeheim. His first, that the first-place vote Syracuse received in the ACC media poll poll was ‘ridiculous,’ was as lighthearted as the conversation got. He discussed the point guard situation, his appeal of the 9-game suspension and DaJuan Coleman.
Also, Louisville coach Rick Pitino didn’t show. Columnist Jesse Dougherty thinks he could learn something from Boeheim.

Syracuse men’s cross country wins 4th consecutive conference title
Syracuse handily beat runner-up No. 12 North Carolina State as sophomore Justyn Knight paced the Orange and finished second overall. Syracuse put three runners in the top five as the Orange’s first conference championship since Mark Coyle was hired as director of athletics in June.
