The city of Syracuse has closed University Avenue between East Adams and Harrison streets for paving work, according to a release from Parking and Transit Services on Thursday.

The Connective Corridor will operate on a detour on the return trip from downtown Syracuse to College Place at Syracuse University, according to the release. The detour will redirect buses to travel down East Fayette Street onto Irving Avenue and then onto Waverly Avenue before continuing on their regular routes.

This detour will continue until further notice, according to the release.

In addition, permit holders in the Lehman and UNV lots can park at Harrison Street or the University Avenue Garage, according to the release.
